Enjoy the Viennese style
What better way to begin the day than with breakfast at one of the numerous cafés in the area. If you don't have to rush off for a business appointment afterwards, we would recommend doing a little window shopping as you stroll from the Wollzeile across the square in front of St. Stephen's cathedral to the Graben and the Kohlmarkt or down Kärntner Strasse.
At lunchtime, you might wish to visit the Palm House in the Burggarten or the "Meierei im Stadtpark". Viennese cuisine in all its rich variety is available just around the corner from us: "original" at the "Drei Hacken" restaurant, "world-famous" at the "Plachutta", "modern" at the "Immervoll" and... . as a sort of "digestif", you could follow up with a walk, perhaps with artistic and cultural enjoyment as your destination: top locations such as the Albertina, the MAK, the Kunstforum and numerous others of the city's best galleries are all just a few minutes away on foot.
And in the evening? Whether you prefer the classical offerings of the Vienna State Opera or the Konzerthaus, jazz at the "Porgy & Bess" or at "Birdland" - founded by Joe Zawinul – everything is just a relaxing walk away. And on the way back home you can stop off for a good glass of wine at one of the neighbouring wine bars.
