As you well know, we are an apartment hotel. You can either put together your own breakfast as you please, or you may wish to have us serve it to you right there in your suite. Whatever suits your fancy! And there is another option, as in a city like Vienna breakfast is a delight to have in a coffee house - those gastronomic institutions which have long left their distinctive mark on the picture of this city like no other. Two tips for visitors to Vienna, both of which are also available as packages for our guests:

Café Diglas - Wollzeile 10, 1010 Vienna
Just around the corner from the Riemergasse, "100 steps behind the cathedral - at No.10 Wollzeile" we find the Café Diglas. A classic, traditional Viennese coffee house, open daily from 7am until midnight.  Since 1858, confectioners have been upholding the proud Viennese pastry tradition in its bakery. Here you can begin the day with a splendid selection of breakfast creations, accompanied by national and international newspapers and journals.

Our Tip: Be sure to ask for an "Ischler Kipferl" fresh from their in-house bakery!

Café Engländer - Postgasse 2, 1010 Vienna
Also just around the corner (actually even a little closer) they uphold the tradition of the mythical "Salomea Engländer," the mysterious founder of this café which still bears her name. As the host of numerous salons she was a trend-setter in Central European modernism. This "Neo Coffee House" with its exciting blend of harmonious old and new furnishings captivates with its top quality Viennese cuisine, served from 8 am until 1 o'clock at night.

Our Tip: Though not necessarily for breakfast, it is definitely worth following some of the café´s wine recommendations!
